Digital input modules can be used to connect the control to digital process signals. They are suitable for connecting standard switches and two-wire proximity switches (BERO).

The digital input modules have the following mechanical features:

  • Compact configuration:
    The rugged plastic housing contains:
    • Green LEDs to indicate signal states at the inputs
    • One red LED each to indicate internal and external faults or errors in modules with diagnostic and process interrupts
    • Labeling strips
  • Simple assembly
  • User-friendly wiring:
    The modules are wired by means of a plug-in front connector.
